DoveVivo (now part of the Joivy Group) arrives in Venice with the management of a newly built campus dedicated to students within the Campus Economico San Giobbe. The project, comprising a real estate complex of approximately 6,000 square meters, was awarded to DoveVivo through the European tender of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice for the management of the university residence.

THE NEW DOVEVIVO CAMPUS VENICE

The campus, owned by Ca' Foscari University of Venice, is designed as an expansion of the Campus Economico San Giobbe, within the current economic area with the Department of Economics and the Department of Management, which is located in the former municipal slaughterhouse, now transformed into a new form for the city. The project is part of a significant urban redevelopment and regeneration effort that not only creates a unique place in the world for out-of-town students to live but also adds a high social value to the entire operation.

The design of the spaces, developed by Ca' Foscari University of Venice, integrates furnishing solutions proposed by DoveVivo in collaboration with Lombardini22 - a leading group in the Italian architecture and engineering scene operating internationally. The building is one of the most sustainable in the Venetian capital, boasting an A2 energy class, equipped with solar thermal and photovoltaic systems, rainwater harvesting, and energy-saving technological solutions. The project has also capitalized on the uniqueness of the location, with its triple exposure to the Venetian Lagoon. Furthermore, the new construction blends seamlessly with the colors and materials of the historic university premises, both in the interior and exterior spaces, making the campus a modern and comfortable solution immersed in the charm of the historic city of Venice.

The campus offers single or double rooms, all with private bathrooms. Each solution is fully furnished, equipped with every comfort, and allows for privacy in study activities. Out-of-town students who rent accommodation within the campus can not only enjoy living in a fantastic location with a range of services that make their stay comfortable but can also feel part of a real community thanks to common areas designed to meet their needs: the study room, relaxation and living areas, the gym, the internal laundry, a rooftop with a view of the lagoon, and the inner cloister overlooking the cafeteria-snack bar, open to the public, where you can eat, have a drink while taking advantage of the study/relaxation areas, or enjoy an evening aperitif while admiring the beautiful Venetian sunset. The rental fee includes utilities, Wi-Fi, dedicated customer care, maintenance, 24-hour assistance, day and night reception, air conditioning, and heating.
