Campus Lepontina

Our leadership position within the city of Milan, where we operate with over 4,000 units and 13,000 rooms, is further strengthened with the opening of the new Lepontina Campus.

The restoration and redevelopment of the building, originally an office space, began in 2019 in collaboration with the property owner, Green Stone SICAF SpA, a leading player in the Real Estate sector and the first self-managed multi-compartment SICAF in real estate. The 2,400-square-meter building spans eight floors, including the basement, and offers 120 beds for young students. Most of them are single rooms, but there are also a dozen double accommodations, all with private bathrooms. Additionally, the rooms are equipped with a fridge and microwave, and they are modernly furnished with solutions designed to provide maximum space and comfort.

There are spacious common areas that allow students the right balance between privacy and social life.

On the ground floor, there is a multifunctional space branded as Open (now part of the Joivy Group), inspired by our coworking and events hub located in Porta Romana. The Open space in Lepontina includes not only coworking but also a bar and refreshment area, open to the public and all guests for social gatherings and convivial moments.

The building features an industrial kitchen with individual workstations, inspired by the "Masterchef" model, ideal for group dinners and lunches, as well as a gym furnished exclusively with TechnoGym equipment. Both spaces overlook a spacious outdoor garden that can be used by students for private events.

The project meets urban, energy, and environmental sustainability redevelopment requirements. In fact, the structure is equipped with green system solutions such as photovoltaic panels, a heat pump-based heating/cooling system, and water consumption compensation systems. The plastic and paper-free approach includes the installation of naturalizers to provide purified water directly on-site and a 90% reduction in paper and print consumption.

With the opening of Lepontina, the number of campuses we manage in Italy rises to 13 in 9 cities, with approximately 2,300 rooms under management and over 15,000 students accommodated. In synergy with ALTIDO (now part of the Joivy Group), the Campus will also be available as a Pop-Up Hotel during the summer months, catering to a young but more tourist-oriented audience.

A WORD FROM THE KEY FIGURES

Valerio Fonseca, Founder and CEO of the DoveVivo Group (now part of the Joivy Group), declares: "We are proud of this new urban redevelopment project and of being able to support and develop high-quality, conventioned student housing in Milan. Lepontina combines high-value-added services with a green concept and sustainable design in a highly strategic area. We thank Green Stone for choosing our Group as a strategic partner to enhance the asset and the excellent collaboration that has been consistently developed throughout the project."

Federico Galardi, Building Director of DoveVivo (now part of the Joivy Group), adds: "The new student housing allows us to bring together, for the first time, three of the main components of the platform: campus expertise, coworking versatility, and the flexibility of hospitality and short-term stays. All of this in an innovative and green environment that perfectly matches the Milanese metropolitan style."
